wheels

I have posted many topics in this forum because i am new to this hobby.
Today I was running my tornado s30 at the park in 90 degree weather on a ball field and on the asphault and afterwards when I got home and was maintaining and cleaning; the wheels would not come off (from the stub axles).
This has happened before in hot weather and I am thinking that it is because of the hot weather that this is happening.
Other than cracks on the wheels ( around the channel area) they are fairly new).
The only way they will come off is by using the rubber coated handle of my screwdriver and tapping with some degree of force where the lock nut goes.
The stub axles do not look crooked; the car is only a couple of months old and about couple gallons have been run through it.
If anyone has any suggestions or advice; please feel free to respond.

Yes It is common, They fit tight on the hex and stub axle. To tell you the truth any of the ones I have seen that fit really loose on the stub axle wind up breaking the center hub of the rim. I would say leave it tight but that is up to you.

Yup same thing happens on pretty much all my cars i just stick 1 end of my needle nose pliers throught the opposite side of the rim and poke it out. If its only happening when its really hot then im guessing the plastic is expanding a little bit with the hot weather and when you take it in to clean it the plastic is cooling back down and going back to normal size or maybe a little smaller than normal size hence the hub sticking in the wheel.
