wont shift

i just got this truck got it broke in and it wont shift to second gear can somebody tell me why ?

Your best bet is to pull the gear box apart and take a look at the 2 speed clutch. Make sure that the grub screws didn't fall out. If not locktite the grub screws on it and the put it back together. Turning the grub screw thats off center counter clockwise will make it shift earler. and turning it clockwise will make it shift later.
