Hello everyone!!!
I'm new to the forum but I do have a few years of nitro / RC usage!! I was out of the hobby for about 11 years and I just got the bug for it again!!
I ordered from ebay the Redcat racing aftershock 3.5 and it is due to deliver any time now today. Thanks for all the info on the gear mesh and the turn buckles so I will make sure to check it over real good once it is here:) Any other area's of concern that I should be aware of? Your feedback would be great!!!

I will be upgrading the truck as well with as much aluminum parts as possible, unless there are graphite/carbon fiber upgrades?

Welcome to the forum. The Aftershock is a great SC Truck. The 3.5 has loads of power. There are a few upgrades that you can do but by far the best to do on that truck is the MPO-11 Steering link and the MPO-02 C-Hub Carriers, You can also upgrade to the Steel Spur Gear MPO-016.
