Hurricane xp Question/Problem

Did the hurricane xp come with a 2 speed transmission? I just bought one used and I tuned it (not sure if its 100% perfect) It will get up to about 35 on WOT then rev like it wants to shift. If they don't what do I look for if the guy might've added one on?

The hurricane is only a single speed with the center differential. Its possible the guy you bought it from modded it to have a 2 speed. If it has a 2 speed there will be 2 gears on the clutchbell, and 2 gears meshed to those in the center of the car. If you were to look under the car you would see 2 gears in the middle hole, not one.
