Default SPAD DPS 2 pylon course race 25th of Sept, Boise ID

BARKS, in Boise, Idaho is holding its 2nd annual SPAD race. Must be a DPS running a Sport .45-.55 engine under 14K RPM (no nelson, Jet or Rossi type racing). The course is standard 2 pylon, air start similar to club 40. There is a $5 entry fee, and there will be cash awards to top 3 places. BBQ burgers and dogs available for purchase. Must have a helmut, if you don't have one, let me know.

Come on out and join us for some serious SPAD fun.

We had 13 Spad pilots show up and fly at this years SPAD race!! We had folks drive 4 hours from Idaho Falls, and 2 made the 125 mile trip from Twin Falls too. What an awesome time!! We had 3 winners each in Gold, Silver and Bronze heat races. First Place Gold won $50, 1st Place Silver $30, and 1st place Bronze $15

Thanks to everyone who made this years race awesome!!

That does look like a good time. We had SPAD pylon racing this past SPADFest. Only ran heats of 4, though.

It'd be a heck of a drive for you if you came this year. It's in Newton IA. People have come from farther - but they usually fly in and ship their planes.
