Default Coro painting with colorplace paint

I read a thread from RysiuM that saying the colorplace paint from walmart is very good to paint coro.

Do the spray and regular colorplace paint are the same?

Can I take this paint to do a kind of primer and use other paint with a better color choice??

I ask this because my brother have a paint brush for his model making and he will paint my corospit soon.

Thanks

Dan

I'd like to know about this colorplace pain too. Can you spray it on? How much for a can?

I bought one today at Wally World and it's 2.94 cdn for a can.

I bought a grey primer and green to do test.
I'm only in the test mode.

I've been using the new Krylon paint for plastic. I wanted to make a change and needed to remove a little one inch wide strip. I tried using different stuff like alcohol and electronic parts cleaner but all it did was make a mess. Tried to sand it off but that didn't work either. It really sticks to coro good.

Is the Krylon and Walmart stuff fuel proof?

I've use Krylon Fusion and can report that
it will not stand up to 15% nitro fuel.

It looks really nice, bonds to the coro
well, but dissolves. Perhaps if it was
covered w/ a clear lacquer sealer?

I did some test this weekend and here's the Result.

The colorplace primer don't like fuel at all...

The colorplace emanel finish seem to hold well I will have to experiment more with the coro preparation!

In 2 spot the paint have made some crack in the finish, the paint is still holding but the finish is attacked...

RysiuM used 90% rubbing alcohol but I didn't find it.
I took 70%

My next step is to use mineral spirit for coro prep!!!
