Last weekend my old and trusty spa3d bit the dust. I met up with two other pbf's in the air on multiple ocasions and ripped my coroplast to shreds. What a blast. I spent two nights this week reusing all the old screws/engine mounts/landing gear making myself a new and updated version. I've been using a tt42 gp and an 11/4 prop. My old one had a 32 in rail and 34 inch wingspan. It flew ok. For my new one I wanted to try to lose some weight. I drilled holes in the aluminum u channel and cut two inches off the wingtips. It came in at almost 3.5 lbs. It is a much better flyer than the old one.

Love your webpage and the inverted flatspin in your Spa3d video! I'll have to try that with my Spa3d! I can easily relate with you though. I've crashed and salvaged my Spa3d many times too!
