Guys
Had a quick search onsite but not got far.
Can anybody point out pictures/plans of a single (not folded over double) layer glider span (>100cm) wing construction. Thinking about my earlier question, I'd like to make a lighter wing somehow.

Hmmmm some of the stop sign spads are single layer but they also have short span.. surfimp and I built some smaller span single layer wings, and they worked o.k. Not great. but still flew just fine. The span is the issue with strength here, so maybe look at surfimps plan on www.spadworld.net or www.spadslopers.com and then use a CF or alum shaft on the underside of the wing in the crease to add some strength...
Good luck, you can do it.
