Hi, I am in the middle of building a SPA3D. I was into RC a few years ago. I had a piper cub, I only flew it once, didn't like it and traded it. Now I'm back into the sport and a little worried about crashing. I figured the SPAD style plane would hold up well, but I want to start slow. How much throttle does it take to keep a SPA3D in the air with a TT .46?
Thanks guys.

I use full throttle for take off (usually about 10-20 feet or so) and as soon as it's in the air, I throttle back to 2 or 3 clicks below half throttle. That's perfect for crusing around nice and easy. I reserve full throttle for hovering pull-outs and other 3D stuff.
