Just thought id post pics of my 2 spads. I built an upscaled Deb (72" wingspan, 60" Fuse) O.S. .46 fx on the front. My wife is an accountant so i had her do some calculating for me
Sorry im not much of a modeler, and am not fancy with my planes, I just want to spend more time flying than building
The big Deb flies like a dream, and has survived 3 crashes with verrrry little damage. In fact the last crash ripped half of an aileron off, so i pulled the joint apart, slipped in a new aileron in, zip tied it (didnt even glue) and was up and going the next day. I LOVE SPADS.
The Gnat has not been flown yet, im still practicing on FMS with some of the similar models. It has an old .15 on it with no throttle control. JUST FULL THROTTLE. So it should be fun to try anyway.
I would like to build a big cub (maybe 80" ws or so) anyone know of some plans???
thx

Sahoy,
Sharp looking fleet!
It looks like the exhaust diverter on the Deb runs along the fuselage; any problems with too much back pressure?
Does it affect performance? Must make clean-up a snap!

As far at the exhaust, No probs with performance that i can tell. And YES clean up is a snap. That was the main reason for using the exhaust tube all the way back.
thx
