Default Ideas, recommendations for a club event

I need a simple to build and easy to fly plane for our club picnic this year. I would like it simple enough that everyone, bigginer to vetran can fly and have fun. It would be used for simple funfly events and maybe a pylon race. If I can keep the cost down the club can provide the air frame "kit"

So many choices, so little time. Do you want wheels? I am trying to get the HOR accepted as a club plane for some light formation flying, pylon racing and combat. The plane is easy to make, cheep cheep, and flies well, but no wheels. so far we have 7 in the club. Another fun plane is the Debut with a .25 engine, again no wheels but fun and easy to make. Larger plane needed go with the DPS, a real winner.

We have been building dominators at the winter meetings this year and adding wheels to them. Not really a trainer but the guys are having fun and i think we are up to 2 complete and three or more under way. We built two of them last weekend on a sunday afternoon. Most seem to enjoy the build and we will have a few "events" at the field this spring. Used up a lot of old parts and such and probably have about $20 in materials in them not including donated items.
