Bought a MCM from Flying Z Hobbies in Sebree Ky. for my OS. 25 FX and what a difference it made !!! The best part of a MCM is the instantenous throttle response from idle to full throttle. the rpm's went from 14,000 with a standard muffler to 16,000 with the MCM. Makes hovering and tail touches a breeze.
Thought about making the MCM from plans located on other sites, but found that you could buy one cheaper than if you were to assemble yourself.
Had a friend fly my PBF last Sunday and was truly impressed with the flight characteristics. Said he would have to get one himself !!!
