Does anyone sell SPAD kits. I don't have the time to search for the items required. If there are any that hover well all the better. TIA.

Sarge, Plastic Concept Planes make a first class SPAD ARF! I don't own one, but I've had their products in my hands and they are well built and at a reasonable price.

Thanks SearchMan I wasn't sure if they where in business or not. I sent them an E-mail with a question and did not get a reply. I was wondering what came with their ARF's, like control rods gas tank etc.

Sarge,
I'm pretty sure they are still in business since they are paying to have their web page hosted. They live and work in my part of Illinois, so if you don't get an answer back from them, let me know and I will try calling them. I would be surprised if their ARFs don't come with control rods. When I first looked at SPADs I was going to buy one of their ARFs but then found the SPADTOTHEBONE.COM web site and purchased the materials I needed (about $15-20) and took a stab at slapping one together (see my DogFighter below) - it was incredibly simple, easier than any ARF I have ever put together. It took me about 10 hours to make the DogFighter below and most of that time was devoted to cutting the engine mount out of the cutting board with a hack saw, sanding the edges so it fit snugly in the gutter pipe, and installing the controls. They fly great!
Let me know if you want me to call them.

OK thanks. I was thinking about getting one of their QHOR's I have a .39 helicopter engine that I adapted and have been using on a .40 size stick and I thought it would be great on a spad.
