Firewood.

The balsa wing will not stand up to the bounce test.

make a UCD40 Spad wing and try it on the UCD40 fuse, if it survives you have a plane, if not, more firewood and a fuse to make for the remaining spad wing which bounced .... Next weekend will fly and extra fuse which was left over after a crash with a BUHOR wing and see what happens..... The worst that will happen will be making an extra fuse out of coro.....

Oh yes it is. It's a spad with issues. IMHO recycling balsa fits quite well with the spad philosophy

Hi, I used a wrecked Four-Star 60 wing, and made another Cor-Star fuse/tail for this hybrid. It weighs less than the Cor-Star, but of course won't be as durable. It just hangs in the garage, waiting for the day when I pile up one of my other planes to free up some gear for her.
