Default SPAD gnat for G51

Hi to everybody!
I'm new here.
I'm an italian constructor of model aircrafts.
Sorry for my bad english.
Here is my first question about a spad model called "GNAT".
I'd like to build this model for a .51 engine.
How much most large I would have to construct it regarding the original plan?
Is it possibile adapt the gnat to .51 engine?
How it could fly?
Thank to everyone.

If you look at the plans for the SPA3DT or the QHOR, they are pretty similar to the GNAT, only bigger. The closest one is the SPA3DT or the regular SPA3D. I would recommend the one with the tubular fuse, because the tail twists pretty bad with just the u-channel.

I have built and flown a couple of GNATs, they are pretty fun. I built airframes for the SPA3DT and the QHOR, but I never got them in the air. They are all pretty easy builds.

Good luck.

I've built two of the SPA3DT's and they are a blast. I use the OS 55AX on mine. No problem with power here. I think the 3DT will be your best bet.
