Default UK spadders ?

Can you tell me where you get your Ali rail and PVC square pipe from ? I'm in London and the South West. And what prices are you paying for white correx 8'x4' sheets. I paid 16 locally which seemed a little rich.

Have been to B&Q and Homebase and no luck. Ali rail is either to narrow for standard servos and all the PVC pipe is round. And I don't want to have to buy micro/mini servos or build a flying drain pipe ! Any help appreciated.

hi,

Try Travis Perkins or other builders merchant such as Jewsons for square drainpipe.

as for the correx its usually called fluted Polypropylene in the UK by sign shops ect. i pay about 7.60 for 2440mm x 1220mm x 4mm..... Cherwell sign supplies are reasonable and deliver Tel 01280 840297

I'm down in Hampshire. No one in our club has shown up with a Spad yet only Mugi delta type jobs. I built my first PQHOR. Took all of...ohhhh....2 hours after getting the bits. Will maiden flight this weekend. Got the ali rail from B&Q and found it was too narrow for standard servos. Had to use the only SD200s I had. Got the polyethelene chopping board from Woolworths for 5.99. Got 6 3'x4' mounts out of it. With my Irvine 46 it tends to bend down a little. Should I be concerned with this ?

Gotta start on the 3D QHOR variation tonight, then a GEEBEE, and then a P38 twin, then something with my Laser 150 4C up front.... I got da spad bug good and proper.

www.screwfix.com item nos 34212 and 11834 for square downspout but 15M pack (45 feet) is a little more than you are likely to need at 27.99 ukp. Local builders merchants in Cheshire have or can order it.
Ally U section from B&Q but only in sizes 10 x 10mm 10 x 20mm and 20 x 20mm.
Have you tried supertec mini/std servo, halfway between mini and std size, std torque and std price.
