Default HS 81 MG servo problem on PBF

On my PBF I can't get the servo to pull the elevons past 1.5 inches, I have lots of throw left on it but it doesn't have the umph I guess....so I'm switching to HS 77 Low profile High torque servos...double the torque......take care of the problem?

Try slitting the hinge a little at a time. And make sure the hinges arent binding somewhere. A friend of mine uses micro servos on his 24 X 24 PBF, and they work just fine.

Punch a hole about 1 1/2 from the tip on the hinge linePunch 2 holes 1 1/2 in apart at the centre of the aileron. Punch one more hole at the root of the aileron 1 1/2 in. Slit from the tip hole to the centre hole. same at the root and you got her done.

Using a 6.0 volt battery might help too.

Your welcome, Joe. Had the same problem at first. Thank you to Dave, for the concept. Never had so much fun with my clothes on.
