Default what size engine for draco

I am building a Draco combat wing. I plan to make the wing span about 55" using 2 mil coro. What size engine should I use? Would a Thunder Tiger Pro .46 be a good choice?

Default RE: what size engine for draco

My 56 inch wing flew (until my son crashed it) quite well on a 25 FX. It's easy to launch and flies pretty quickly. Personally, I'm thinking a TT PRO 46 is kind-of on the large side, but then again, I'm restricted to sub .30 size for Open B combat. It should be fine, but it'll be wicked fast, as the TT PRO 46 is one of the hotter 46's out there. Remember, the Draco is a pretty light build for a 56 inch wingspan. It's strong, but with no fuze and horizontal stab, it's a light plane for it's size.
