Default what size servo for DRACO

I am building a 54" DRACO. Will Hitec HS82 servos be a good choice, or should I go with a full size stronger servo?

Thanks

that size will work fine, just make sure you get the metal gear version, the 82MG's

by the way, have you seen this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bCIeJfdApI

Thanks I wanted to use smaller servos so that I could bury them in the wing for a clean look. I have watched the video and will watch again. I am just making the spar using 1/4 popular. the taper cuts are the most difficult part of the build, but I am attempting to use the taper jig on my table saw. a band saw would be nice, but I dont have one yet. I'll post some pics as the build is in progress. I have a Evolution 36 for power. wing will be all 2 mil with a 3/16" carbon rod to strengthen the leading edge.

this wing is built with a flat bottom - correct?

your definatly on the right track, the wing is semetrical, when you fold it over, it raises the leading edge uop just where you want it. I just free hand cut the tapers on the table saw and then sand them. good luck and have fun!

I've tapered the spar with a belt sander.

Hi wjbender
As I mention in my post of 7-28-10, I mount my standard size servos completely inside the wing, with only a portion of the servo arm protruding. I do the same for the receiver, and have also mounted the battery inside the wing. I have been doing it for more than 5 years with no problems that I can recall. Let me know if you have any questions.
