Coro Field Box
 

After completing my USS, I needed a gasser field box, to carry the gas, large starting battery, smoke oil, starter, and misc. items. So I made one out of Coroplast. It works great! I used pieces of pvc downspout and pop rivets to hold it all together. For the handle I glued one end cap on a piece of 3/4" PVC pipe and just twist the other cap on by hand. This allows for you to access the inside easier. (See attached photos)

I like it...I'll be building one for me and one for my flying buddy, because right now, our field boxe are REALLY heavy even without our gear in them. This could take alot of load off our poor shoulders.

Post a few pics here, when you finish them, if you don't mind. Here are a few more pictures, that will help in determining the size field box you need. The measurements have also changed from photo #1 in post #2 .

Excellent thread Omaha, I know you spent some time on the pics with the instructions. I think I'm gonna make one to haul around my fuel bottle and SixShooter pump. I'm gonna burn your pics to a cd for future reference. Thanks.[8D]

This fieldbox is not retired.
It was too small for me.
I bought a 2 piece toolbox on wheel at canadiantire.
