Default Need help identifying this racing plane

I picked up this plane the other day at a swap meet and don't know what it is. Thought at first it was a Bridi Cosmic Wind but now I don't think so. The wingspan is about 64" and it has a 120 4 stroke in it. The fuse is fiberglass and the wings are foam cored. Any ideas?

Do you know who might have made this Midget Mustang? It does not have a removable cowl, just the side scoop detaches.

If I knew who made it I would have said so. There was a large Midget Mustang manufactured by a company in Ohio, but I don't know the name of that company. It might have been something like Ohio RC Sales? I'd say your best bet is to keep asking questions. Good luck, Greg

that looks like a sig formula 40 midget mustang, they made it back in the early 80s I had one and they fly good. I wish they still made them but no.

Crashmaster: Dasquirrelisme posted that his Midget Mustang has a 64" wingspan, with a 120 4stroke engine, and a fiberglass fuselage. I think your Sig Midget Mustang was all wood with a .40 2stroke engine?

Yep, Greg, I do believe I stand corrected. Thank you for pointing that out.

Sure Sounds like a Bridi Cosmic Wind. I have the kit. FG fuse and foam core wings. Cowl molded in fuse. Separate cheeks. Span is the same.

The Little Toni, the Minnow, and the Ballerina (the Cosmic Wind airplanes) all had full canopies, and no "turtle decks".
This is kind of an old thread, going back almost 6 years? Bridi did have a .60 size Toni with a glass fuselage, but this airplane isn't one of them.

Greg is right, my friend still has the Briidi Cosmic wind still hanging in his shop, has a canopy not a turtle deck.
