SAMS Outlaw rules
 

Just picked up a couple of 109s and want to start outlaw racing at sams but I can't find a link to the rules anywhere. Any help would be much appreciated. EC

Build the plane STOCK with no aerodynamic mods.
NO engine mods.
9x6 APC prop
Fuel is supplied by the Outlaws
You are allowed to leave off the H-stab struts.
You are allowed to recover the plane. NO RESHAPING any of the surfaces.
Must use an OS25 FX or AX.
You are allowed to use a better fuel tank.
Minimum empty weight of 3 lbs.
MUST be able to enjoy verbal personal attacks on self and bad jokes. :D
NO whining!
Must have FUN.
DO NOT midair Skids!
Do NOT argue with Skids!
Do NOT question Skids!
Do NOT question Glenda in the SOUTH cage! If she says you cut, than you cut!

Gentlemen,

"Mr. Ed" and"The Beaver"have asked me to vacuum-form somereplacement canopies for their Outlaw 109s. I bought the plastic sheet earlier today, and will begin a production run tomorrow afternoon. If youwould like a replacement canopy (or two), let me know before tomorrow afternoon, and I will make one for you also. They are $7.00 each, and I will bring them toSunday's race.</p>

unfortunately we can't find new planes right now so unless you have a secret stash of model tech ME-109's you're out of luck.

As for all others that wish mid-airs on others you should be ashamed of yourselfs. After meeting unexpectedly with slow racer last season I spent 4 months preparing a new airplane for this years races. After 4 months of building I spent another 1.5 months to work all the flight bugs out and break in the new motor. The race day finally came and boy was she nice for the two races that she flew in. Finished 1st place in both heats and then out of the blue was struck down in her prime by an already broken plane that decided to may day accross the middle of the pattern in an effort to make the runway for landing. The new replacement is currently in the works and hopefully will fly just as well.
