Nemesis NXT

This plane is incredible! Does anybody know of any scale plans or drawings available for it for scratch building?

For clarification, this is the aircraft I am talking about:

I haven't seen any plans yet, and I have been looking for a while too. I doubt you will ever see a kit produced as Mr Sharp wants insane amounts of money to license one.

That's a bummer

Big difference between Nemesis and the Nemesis NXT.

Nemesis - One seat Formula One with O-200 engine at just under 300 mph.

Nemesis NXT - two seat Sport Class racer with IO-540 at just under 400 mph.

Nope, and I highly doubt there ever will be.

I Personally spoke with John at Reno a couple years ago specifically about the possibility of making a Q-40 of the NXT. His response was that since all the people that made models of his previous Nemesis design had gottren rich selling his design, he would require a license fee of at least $25,000.00 for the oermission to make the NXT in model form. At that point in time, I lost interest, not before telling him that I knew most of those people he was refering to and if they paid for their molds, they probably did all right.

That's exactly what he told us. The guys at Aerochia are building a couple of HEAVILY modified NXTs right now. Both have narrowed fuselages and are single seat. The vertical tail is much larger, and the horizontal stabilizer is off of a Lancair Legacy instead of the NXT piece. Since these mods basically make it a whole new aircraft, I am going to hit up Andy Chiavette and see if he will hook us up with some cross sections for his version.

This is one of the new single seat birds. It will be Kevin's replacement for Relentless.

RE: Nemesis NXT

no need to be pissy about it, vicman, from the thread we were discussing others that were building similar aircraft to the Nemsis NXT - and the unavailability of plans, kits..etc.. As such I did not read the content on the web page and simply thought this was a knock off, geez.

I wish I had a three view handy of the NXT to post. The wing is the only thing that is the same between the two.
