T-Rex/ A Star 3 blade
This helicopter is stationed at my home airport so I converted my T Rex into a replica. I have one more decal to make (the N504RA) for the pilots side, before I take it to the people at Omni Flight who fly the real one. I hope to fly with these guys soon but I still need a lot more HOBBS time to be considered for E Vac.
I have a few flights on the A Star now. The 3 blade is very close to how a real helicopter reacts only faster. It is a monster in forward flight but controllable. It hovers very stable and autos perfectly. It took a few days of trial and error to get it controlable but it flys well now.
Don't try this at home. Flying with only your right hand and taking a picture with your left!!!

Hi, interesting Trex project [8D]

I've not been that brave with 3x12g blades. Yep, agreed, we need some video please

You might find some similar issues as I found with the 3 blade micro version briefly mentioned in this post
> taking a picture with your left!!!
