Default Looking for scale body? Where?

I Recently purchased a JR Venture 30 but is upgraded to .50, has 50 size tail boom, Im new to the heli thing and don't know much about it so was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a scale body for this thing. Dont really matter what kind, but I would really like this thing to look a litttle scale.

Century makes a ton of scale fuselages which may fit on the Venture, they have a chart on their website stating whether there is any modding required.

Looks good guys but I have one question. I have a Jr venture 30 with 50 upgrades( .50 tt engine and 50 size tail boom) would I need to get the 50 size fuselage or revert the heli back and get the 30 size fuse?

A lot of the fuselage size application relate to the scale dimensions, relative to the length of the tail booms - 30's being shorter then 50's. So I would assume a thirty size would be better for you then a 50 size.

That being said, another consideration is that your Venture 30 is a belt drive, so you will not be able to modify the length of your boom. Consequently you may have to shorten the scale one on the fuselage or let some of your boom and tail gearbox stick out the back.

If memory serves me correctly, the Venture 30 has a pretty deep mainframe. That may limit you to the type of fuselage you can use, so with some, you may have to go to a larger 50 and shorten the boom.

Many times, in such a situation, you may find it more expedient, and a better bet financialy, to remove the radio and power system from your existing heli, sell the airframe, and use that money to buy one of their complete kits that include their scale mechanics.

HAve a look at the Approach Engineering Apache!! www.starwoodmodels.com

You can adapt just about any 50 size Electric or glow ship to fit.

Dave,

I'm currently selling my Hawk with Bell Long Ranger body, let me know if you are interested in as whole or just the body, i prefer selling as whole if possible. I will also add scale muffler in this deal at my added own cost.

Let me know.
