Century huey painting
Hey,
What colors is the century huey painted with? is it just an army green and army yellow?
what paint should i use? any tips would help. i have a automotive air sprayer...what paint can i use in that that would be good for this fuse?

Depends on what era you are looking to replicate. There is a color called army helo drab, available from Testors that is an exact match of the helos you see today. I built a Hirobo huey and painted it with Krylon camo OD green. (from a can!!!) Take a look, the color is super close to what I envision they look like. Early on in the Vietnam war they were painted a much greener color, almost like a forest green. Just remember, if you use a paint to make sure it is fuel proof. I have my choppers converted to electric so thats not an issue.
Bottom line, its your chopper, paint it the way you would like to see it.

Really good green Son, let's see....Hmmmm, Look's ODish, green, my favorite, air cav making's nice touch, drive on Solider, you won't have ta choke yourself like Pvt. oer there![>:] Hey and if youre a real Vet like me chk out real Mil sites or related sites also chk out a Civilian site real world heli's screensaver etc. called Vertical.com
