Default menace 21

Thinking about purchasing a menace 21 and was wondering how they perform off-road.
I have tried to operate a jato off-road and was not very good at it possibly because it is 2wd.
Are they easy to tune (engine) and how about parts in U.S.A are they easy to find ?
Does schumacher offer any type engine exchange program like hpi or traxxas ?

Menace are great stadium trucks. They will handle dirt, jumps and off road situations well, but remember this is not a revo or tmaxx, so its not a heavy offroader. The engine is great and holds a tune well.

Schumacher does NOT offer an engine trade in. Hope this helps.

I never had a TRX3.3 but I did have a TRX2.5 and thought that it was way simpler. I bought mine brand new and it came on the rich side from the factory. After break in I leaned it out.

Its not a cheap truck to own. It was my first nitro truck and probably the first five time I ran it I broke something each time out. I over $1200 in this truck right now. I've never gotten it to the claimed 70, but I did clock it at 51mph last week.

What I love the most about this truck is that it starts up every time. First things to upgrade when you get the truck is get a 2.4ghz radio system to be able to get the range needed to get up in speed, get a failsafe and upgrade the servos. Most people get the Hitec 645MG.

Brakes are probably the weakest part of the truck. They fade very quickly.
