Ken, I fully understand your motivation. But as shown by the folks that confirm my side line observation clearly this is a long standing scam to encourage folks to think that it's all fixed. Much like the local stores that "Go Out Of Business" every year. Sometimes twice a year. Yet it's the same folks running it year after year, after year.
Believe me, I'd like nothing better than for the operator to see the light and realize that they'll get far more if they actually deliver the goods. But until something of the sort happens or someone can snag the inventory from them the collection will continue to be lost other than through secondary efforts.

I am not sure this is allowed here but scanned RCM plans are being posted on another forum. So if everyone were so scan a couple of their plans and add them to the online collection they will still be available for everyone to use. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2233857

Are you talking about me???
My post wasn't about a legitimate vendor reappearing, it was a warning that the scammer's have returned. Sorry if I didn't make that clear enough.
The message on the website is the same load of BS that RCM Plans has been shoveling for the last year. Someone once said, that there was a sucker born every minute. RCM Plans is looking for each, and everyone of them. Don't be a sucker, or let anyone you know be one either.

Hi Fellows: I placed an order #6673 on 04/19-2013 for three plans. Receiving these plans now would prove that the plans service is back up operational. They have the order records from everyone who ordered plans in which they took the funds sent in. Not having any of these orders filled just shows they are not operational. The website problem has nothing to do with the received past orders. The only thing that can be done is to have a number of modelers having the funds, to locate these operators, and straighten out the reason the plans have not been sent. Also, just sending the funds back to each person who has ordered plans would be another way to move forward. Believe we must acknowledge the fact that the business is gone until a viable person takes over.

It is really a shame that RCM plans has headed in the direction it has.
But I really shouldn't be surprised. I used to love RCM Magazine back in the day and I had purchased many of their plans. I let my subscription run out for about two years. Then, as a Christmas present, my Sister-In-Law and Brother-In-Law bought me a subscription to RCM Magazine. I received one magazine and waited ..... and waited ... and waited for the 2nd magazine. It never came. The magazine part of the business had gone belly up. You would think that morals and ethics would've dictated that they not accept payment for a year's subscription; however, they took the money. I received no notice, no apology and no refund to my sister. I know it had to be a sad time at RCM, but at that time, the plans side of the business was still going pretty strong.

Looks like www.rcmplans.com is off the air, hopefully permanently -- so at least no one else will get ripped off.
