Default New 3D training coming in late July

Hi everybody,

For those of you interested in 3D modeling, and for MODO users specifically, I'm introducing a new training set "Modeling with MODO, Volume Five - Problem Solving" in late July. (for direct download) Pre-order by July 14th and save $5. More info at http://www.mikejamesmedia.com/mwm_05.html

And…
For those of you who haven't visited my site in a while, the "news" is that I can now produce 3D files in STL format for stereolithography, as well as STP, SAT, and IGES, for traditional machining. ( http://www.mikejamesmedia.com )

Default RE: New 3D training coming in late July

Hi everybody,

"Modeling with MODO, Volume Five - Problem Solving" will be available on Monday, July 29th.

Those of you who have already pre-ordered it will be receiving an email by late Sunday night or early Monday morning, with the info you need to directly download it. For those of you who haven't already seen it, the preview page is at [link]http://www.mikejamesmedia.com/mwm_05.html[/link]

Total content is about 1.58 Gigabtes, with a little over two hours of dedicated video, combined with many pages of information, sample renders, shorter embedded videos, etc.. (Like my other tutorials, it's set up like a web site, so you can review any part at any time.)

I've also included several files. Those include a small library of "everyday" materials that render fast, a file illustrating another workaround for certain boolean operations, a rigged file showing my vehicle lighting system in action, and another file showing a rigged exhaust effect system, which doesn't require volumetrics.) All these things work equally well in MODO 601 or 701. (and most will work on earlier versions as well)

Special thanks again to those who already pre-ordered this set. I hope you all have fun with it.
