Default Anyone capable and willing?

Hello all,
I need a pilot bust drawn up (for compensation of course) to give to a 3D printer for the making of a bust. He can print it from a file but can't make the file.

Thanks,
Robert

Have you checked www.thingiverse.com? Lots of printer-ready STL files there; you may get lucky

Nope nothing, no type of bust. I would like one of a particular person.

Well I know there's an iPhone app out there that creates an STL from any picture you take. Maybe that would work better if you can find it. Good luck

A fella on RCG gave me a link to a website that offers the phone app as well as a download or on there site, all free. Currently looking into how it works and how good the image actually is with the sites forums. So far my questions are being answered and it is looking promising. Honestly with that kind of programming available, I may in the near future, look into getting a printer myself.

The technology is getting better & better. I work in the 3D printing field; Google "Stratasys" to see the stuff I work with.

Craig, thanks for posting the link, I forgot to apparently. So far it seems to be a pretty strait forward and simple system, so much so I am thinking of getting a 3D printer. Then I would need to ask no more of who can or would do whatever.

ACERC,

I too think it's a super cool technology!! I would love to get a 3D printer, One day maybe, but not for awhile!
Just let me know when you get yours, and I will come over to use it, seeing as we only live about 1.5 hours away from Each other!!
