Where is the best place to order balsa
I'm going to try my hand at a scratch build and would like to hear where people get their balsa and ply from.

Support your LHS. That way when you discover you need a piece of wood on a Saturday morning, you can just go get it. It also lets you choose the pieces individually.

I have used superior balsa and lone star balsa. Both been on several big $300+ orders.
Wood has been consistant and what I ordered. Sometimes depending on order they throw in
extra of one of your orders. I also use my LHS but they do not have the large amount of wood
needed.

I've had great luck with Lone Star with over $400 worth of money well spent with them.

I like they're "bundle" packs... get like 10 sheets at cheaper than single sheet price.

I have not used others, but have had good luck with LoneStar, on several orders. Woos is always very good, and if anything was not there, they took care of it almost instantly.
I have heard that Superior and Balsa USA have good product as well.
