I just finished the black trim. Next I have to clear coat it and attach the flight surfaces. I am getting ready to spray the spinner. I would like to get all my spraying done before I start putting everything back together.

Ready to balance and run up the engine. I still have to finish the cockpit. I have to take some more photos of the cockpit. There is still some small unfinished items. But it is ready to go after two years!! Here are some picks. Excuse the clutter in the background.

Thanks Billy. When we get a little warm weather I will get the engine run up. If I fly it early spring it will be at the Nighthawks with the hard runway. I am still waiting to get my plans back from a friend "Ken" to set the CG. He has a Starduster in the bones. Now I can get back to my old project.

After a crash in the maiden flight two years ago. I made major changes in the CG and Incidence the Starduster flies great with a DLE 55 engine. The color scheme looks fantastic in the air.\

What changes did you make to the CG and incidences? Did you make these changes because it lead to the crash? I am about to do the same build and wonder if there any changes from the plans or whatever I should be aware of. Thanks
