Hey I found what I am looking for too - I wrote a "help me identify the plane" on here this evening... a member pointed me to what i had (my son just bought this plane) and it is the bipe stik.

I now am looking for plans for it. Whomever has a set of plans I could reimburse for the copy expenses, let me know.... my son wants it all made up in Baron colors and while i am recovering, any advice on any good mods are appreciated..

Thanks!

This is a page from my family web site. One of the pic's shows the Das Bipe Stick fuse that my son is building. I just finished a foam cutter power supply in order to cut some wings for it. Had trouble with the first one I built but the second one works like a dream but now I'm having trouble with the bow wire. Not sure what to use. I've tried 20, 22, 24 gauge galvanized stainless steel wire so far. Experimenting.

The main reason for the foam cutter though is to try cutting some Zagi style planes which I'm having a hard time finding the plans for.

Jaymom
I use .020 stainless steel (NOT GALVANIZEWD) fishin leader, very cheap and lasts forever.

I just cut a slot with an Exacto knife and epoxied them in.

I'm finally building mine. I had one back in 1983, so It's kind of going back in time for me. I'm bashing mine a little bit though. First it will be powered by and AXI 4130-16 motor, but I haven't figured out what cells to run. I aslo am extending the nose to enclose the motor completely. I have added 1 " to the tail to give it a better overall moment. I'm going to make it with 4 aerlerons too.

if someone could just post the wing length of upper and lower wing & chord, plus fuse length I can probably guestimate something together from the stik plans I already own.

I drew up a plan for the small Bipe Stik I posted earlier in this thread. You could just scale it up to suit a .40 or whatever.

Plan: http://www.donatelli.net/bipestik/bipe-stik.zip

You can get software for printing the plan at http://www.blackflight.com/tileprint/

wow...if i found this thread a few years ago.

story, if anyone is reading.

my dad has wanted to build this biplane for awhile now, but since hes working all the time (even saturdays) he doesnt have the time. My mother bought him the kit a little after they got married. Soon after though they started having a lot of money trouble so the kit got put away, as we all now these planes get pricey. Well Ive always wanted to get in to rc planes and i found this kit about a week ago and my dad said that i could build it. I open the box only to find that the instructions and all documentation is gone.
not to be a sob story, i just didnt want any of you to think that i was just some random guy who didnt want to look for a complete kit.
ive already emailed two people about the plans, but anyone who has plans or documentation please email me with how much you want for them or whatever.
thanks everyone.

dont know if anyone is interested, but i have a digital pdf file that can be printed at kinkos or places like that, and if anybody would like a copy i would be more than happy to email it to you, but i would like you to email it to your friends or anybody that wants it as well. i believe in the opensource and sharing files.
by the way if anyone has plans for aircraft please email them to me as well.

<span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial; font-size: 13px; background-color: rgb(251, 252, 255); ">814ck73425, I just shot you an e-mail about the PDF file. Typical for me to find something 4 years after everyone else has one! I love the Stiks and all the variations that come with them. IMHO, they are the ultimate fun flyer!

If you have one and would be kind enough to share a picture or two with the rest of us I would sure appreciate it.

If anyone has the parts list even so that I could compare it against what I have put together from the plans.

Thanks
