Default Cleveland model supply corsair plans

Has anyone had any experience with the Cleveland model supply plans, specifically the corsair plans. Quality of scale, flight characteristics, etc. Or should a corsair be built by other companies plans, such as maybe Royal or ziroli or who's. Thanks in advance.

Default Cleveland experiences

Most of the Cleveland design plans I have were done during the 1930's to early 1950's. All were rubber power designs. They "represented" the general shape of the prototype. Each scale ratio they offered was essentially a photographic enlargement of the original 5/8 inch scale plan. Although noted as being for controlline and radio, these things (and glow engines) were not around when the plans were drawn up.

If plans do not exist for whatever model you intend to build, then go with their plans as a guide for your own interpretation. If the model was popular, and kitted, don't think one more minute as to going with a Cleveland plan.
