RE: Ace Bingo 40
Hi Again I did build the 40 size Bingo from an Ace kit..If I remember right the 40 size kit plans didn't have FULL size former parts..I checked with RCM all I see listed is the Bingo 60 size plans..What I'm really trying to do is down size the Bingo to a 46"WS and convert to electric..
Thanks Dan

Why not get the plan for the Bingo 20 which has a wingspan of 49" and area of 440 sq.inches. It can be ordered from Carstens Publications and appeared in the April, 1994 issue of Flying Models. Plan number CF-929, $8.00 + shipping. Go to http://www.flying-models.com/

RE: Ace Bingo 40
Hi Dave
I just finished and madeined a down sized 40 Cloud Dancer for electric. It was 25% down sized, from a 60" WS to a 46" WS .I went with all balsa for the formers, mainly replacing all the lite ply..Afterwards I'm thinking that some of the formers should have remain lite ply.
Here is a pic of Electric CD along side the 40 CD..The "e" CD was a little mushy when it was slowed down.I used a APC e 10x5 prop giving me these numbers 32 amps-332 watts..I'm thinking maybe a change in prop may be order..With a APC e 9x6 my numbers were 26amps 299 watts,10x7 40 amps 400 watts..My battery is a 3s4100..What do you think will work best??
Thanks Dan

RE: Ace Bingo 40
Hi All the Bingo 20 is coming along just fine..I had the parts cut by http://www.lazer-works.com/.
Got the both wing halves done, just waiting for the wing servo to come in.
The fuselage is rubber banded together and the fit is really great.

RE: Ace Bingo 40
I see the request was made back in Aug,but if your still looking for plans for a bingo -40...I have two kits, and I could loan you a set of plans . You get copies made,or if I can. I could get copies made, but Kinkos is not cheap. Last set I had made cost $20.00... Hope that helps you out.. Good Luck --Joann

RE: Ace Bingo 40
Hi Jo-Ann I found plans for the Bingo 20, 49" wing span..Check back a few post for the pics..
Wow Kinko's is expensive..I usually go to Office Max or Office Depot, they copy full size plans for only $3.49.
I did build and fly the Bingo 40..I found my plans for ther Bingo, only trouble was the some of the formers weren't full size..
Thanks Dan

I sure hope folks haven't stoped following this thread. I am in need of Bingo 40 Plans. I bought Laser cut parts and was going to build it without plans but when I looked things over I realized the plans may be necessary. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
