What engine shoudl I get?
 

I am awaiting the arrival of my plans from RCM to build the Bingo, and am starting to think about what engine I would like to use in this plane. I would like something in the 40 to 65 range, 2 stroke. But price is one of the limiting factors. I would like to stay less than $100 for the engine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Magnum XLS series. The 46 is under your $100 price, the 52 and 60 are a little over. Any one will give you good service.

DEar Jake:

I have heard good things about the Thunder Tigre Pro 61. It is right around 99 bucks. I have one with a K&B 65 sporster in it. It worked just fine. Just remember to use lotsa prop. Around a 13-6 or so should work fine. Either one would work good.
