Another canard
 

Hello. I am again. I saw the planes of the crusader and i didn't like much for several reasons, wing fixed, long exhaust pipe, too many cuts of wood, etc. Somewhere saw another canard which is the plan number 762 rcm magazine. Could you tell me where i can download them? Thank you in advance.

I flew a Canard of my own design for about 7 years and loved it. Here is one thing I learned about Canards. During a landing, if you see the nose hitting hard, or otherwise see a problem during the landing, immediately go to full down elevator and hold that until the plane stops. If you do not do that, the nose will bounce up and the plane stalls and crashes. It took me a long time to realize that. Remember that on a Canard, down elevator moves the elevator UP, and since the elevator is at the front of the plane, down elevator drives the nose down, keeping it on the ground. I have never seen that advice given elsewhere. Me gusta Mexico!

Probably 10 to 15 years ago I posted plans and photos of my Canards on this website. You can look them up under my username. I used an OS 46 engine and a pusher propeller. I learned that the engine would overheat if run on the ground for more than 30 seconds. If I had to adjust the engine a great amount of time, I would change the prop to a puller prop and run as long as was needed. Then I would replace the prop and take off. The props were always of the same make, design, diameter, etc. One was a pusher and the other was a puller. Era un acidente que aprendi eso. I learned that after seeing the fuel boiling in the carburetor.
