Mini Telemaster Mods

Hey,

I am think of making a mini telemaster as a camera plane. If dont already know, the mini telemaster is a 3 channel plane. I want to put ailerons on it.

There were two things that i was going to do.

1.) Full wing length ailerons.
2.) Reduce the dihedral from 7 degrees to about 3 degrees.

Will this work???

What rules/hints/tips must you do when transfer a plane from 3 channel to 4.

Cheers

RE: Mini Telemaster Mods

1) Build the wing flat, you will have more than enough stability and it will fly better with less rudder roll coupling.

2) When setting up the throws, use a LOT of differential on the ailerons. That is, have more up travel than down. 2:1 is a not unreasonable starting point, maybe even 3:1. This is because that big high lift airfoil will give you a lot of adverse yaw and that is a serious nuisance at best and a plane killer at worst.

How big is the mini Telemaster? Will it carry the weight OK?

Hey,

The wingspan is 120cm (48"), and i have flown it with a 100 mobile and it flew ok.

Thanks again
