First Time Balsa Builder
 

I think im either going to get a kit, or build something from plans this winter for my second or third plane. what would be a good begginers first plane to build by scratch out of balsa? i was kind of looking at the Blue Flash plans from Fly RC. its gotta be a 40 size plane.

If you are going to go the kit route an excellent first build
is a Sig Somethin Extra. Very easy to build and you end
up with a great flying plane.

Since you mentioned this would be your 2nd or 3rd plane
the SSE might just be a perfect match.

You can order it directly from Sig or from any Sig dealer.
Or from Tower Hobbies. Probably even from your
local hobby shop if you have one in the area.
