Default PBY Undercarriage information/drawings

With the demise of Century Jet and my ignoring Dave Platt's law of Scarfollogy ( eg get it while you can). I am now in need of a set of maingear for the Vintage RC PBY plans and mouldings. As Century Jet are showing no signs of rising from the ashes, I am forced to consider getting some made. A very talented Engineer has offered his help but I am trying to do my bit by trying to gather information to assist in the process.

Does anyone have any Drawings/Pictures or even(Long shot time) engineering drawing of units that other modellers have successfully designed, even of it is a different scale.

Do they need to be retracts? I have 1/12 scale plans for a PBY, but I do believe they are fixed gear.
