Default flying off water in Southern California

Does anyone know where you can fly off the water in Southern California all the time? Waiting for twice a year float fly does not cut it for me!!!!

There is got to be a place in Southern California where you can fly off the water all the time.

If you know of a place, please reply.

I envy people who live in states where there is a pond or a lake for every car we have in L.A!

Gee, I figured Santa Fe Dam was a year round spot! I think Canyon Crosswinds club has a field next to Castaic lower lake and flies floatplanes there, but not sure.

Flying on Wednesdays, however tempting it is, will be difficult for me!!!

Is there any place where you can fly in the weekends?

I dont mind joining any club for such privileges.

There's a small group of guys I fly with at a little lake in Orange County, it is a club field, and membership is required. I just recently joined, and am just getting started in floatflying, and was told today by Falcon Trading that mine and my dads Cessna 177 on floats will be on our doorsteps on monday
