Ultra Duck?
Had a good day at the pond yesterday, even had a little company on the water. I had to do some moving to get an angle where I could avoid the ducks. Everytime I turned, they moved to intercept. A little "goose" of the gas had them running in all directions though. The first pic shows my flying area. The only drawback is no boats allowed. I have to use a rod/reel setup with a weight on the line to fetch my stalled plane.

RE: Ultra Duck?
Take off is a little squirrelly, but once in the air it's on rails. I have to dial in full flaps for takeoff and it jumps off the water, almost to the point of flipping over backward. I am still working on the technique. Also, once on step, you have to let it rock just a hair forward to get off the back end of the floats. This helps it get off the water smoother. I need more practice so I have acquired more fuel!
