Default Floats to .40 trainer

I built a 40 trainer and with that i learn flying...I want on summer to use it as a seaplane!!
Its weight is 2350 gr!!My engine is .40 SC!!Can i put floats?Could it take off from sea and fly?
What will be its weight after installing the floats???

That is a very light .40 trainer! I would expect almost another kilogram if it were one of the ARF trainers.

Yes you can mount floats and a light plane such as that will have plenty of lift for the floats.
http://www.flyinglindy.homestead.com/skisandfloats.html has an article to tell you how to size and make and install the floats. They should only add about half a kilogram. You'll hardly notice them.

If you are flying from salt water, be very diligent to keep salt out out of the electronics and clean the plane thoroughly after flying. Use a corrosion inhibiting oil such as corrosion-X.
