Without having the engines mounted high on pods, won't the props be too close to the water?

Doh! LOL

I was thinking that myself. Infact I just read a funny thing about the Sea Master the other day in a 10 year old magazine.

Hmmm looking at it you'd think that the pod is two short also. I think it may work as long as he uses small props on small engines. Let us know how she handles on the water!

well guys, unfortunatly i have no water at the field, but when i finally got both engines to run i found the swich in the fuse was left on, hence the batt was dead! DOH! so never got to fly, maybe next week. btw, the props are plastic 9x6, and thanx for the enhancment!---henry

Default Twin Seamaster

Hello Nun45 ------ Here is my version of a twin Seamaster . It is powered by two Super Tiger 40's and has plenty of power . I think your model is way overpowered . All will be told on it's first flight . Good luck , smooth landings , Merry Christmas .

Default Twin Seamaster is cool

Fish that twin Seamaster looks waay cool. Is the wing one piece? Does it disassemble at the tail? Nice bash.

Default Twin Seamaster

Hi Wingspan99 ---- I built the twin fuse Seamaster from scratch from a standard Seamaster plan . The wing is in three pieces . The center section spans both fuses and is doweled at the leading edge and bolted near the trailing edge . The right and left wings are piloted into the center section and bolted . The tail assembly is permanent . The center section of the wing is not removed unless access to the fuses is necessary . It is powered by twin Super Tiger 40's and the engine cowlings are made from shampoo bottles . The throttle servos and fuel tanks are directly behind each engine and are also covered by shampoo bottles . It tracks very well on the water and gets airborn much like a standard Seamaster . It has one drawback , it will tip stall if the landing speed gets too slow . I may add flaps to try to correct this . I think flaps would look good on it anyway . The engines give it a lot of power , more than it needs . I am pleased with it's looks and flyability . It does turn a few heads . Thanks for the comments -- Happy New Year . [email protected]
