Hello Hanko,
I belong to a club in southeastern Michigan. We have float flies twich a month starting in May and lasting thru September , sometimes into October--- weather permitting. I am just putting the finishing touches on a scratch built 1/4 scale Rearwin Skyranger. I hope to have it's maiden flight sometime in May or June. My brother has a 1/4 scale Beaver on floats which is a very nice looking plane. How about more info on your intended float fly.
What are you powering your cub with? I am using a new 42cc Taurus gasser.

Hanko,
No, the Skymasters is not our club but I have flown at their two day float fly at Island Lake the past few years. If you have not flown there you should give it a try, they put on a very nice two day event.
My brother makes foam core floats --- his web site is : www.geocities.com/planefunfloats

We float fly at Sterling State Park on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month. We start around 10AM and are usually packing up around 2PM. It is not the best place but it is better than nothing.

Hi all and greetings from Maine,

Was wondering if anyone has, or knows someone who has a set of 1/3 scale floats for sale (built) that I can put on a Balsa USA 1/3 scale Super Cub. Please let me know if anyone knows of anything and thanks!
