Default My First floatplane-Kadet MKII

I've had this plane for a while. Trainer to Photography platform to skis now the floats. O.S. 40 FX with hitec BB servos. My first attempt off the water will be yet this summer. I will admit the silver cowl has to go yellow. I have the balance perfect and the step on the floats is mid-wing. As I've read in the forums, this is about the correct position of the floats.

Looks good. You'll be hopelessly addicted in no time. The only thing I would suggest is to add a couple cross braces to keep the floats parallel to each other.

The floats do bounce around a bit. I will gladly follow your advice. Thanks!

Hey Mike-your Kadet looks great! So have you flown her off water yet?. If not keep us informed. Hey what kind of floats are those and what are the specs?-Length and what is your AUW? I,m trying to decide which plane to put floats on- I had mine on a nexstar till I crashed it. I do have a kadet mkII but was thinking of putting my greatplanes floats on a sig LT 40 or a hobbico avistar-haven't decided-never thought about the kadet until I saw yours. thanks Fairplane
