Nice find
Looks to be a Stream Schneider Sport, they were builder's kits,, came in a 40 and 60 size, even some electric versions, These kits were a little more expensive than most back in the day, mid to late 90's, the floats are ABS plastic,,thick and well made.

good luck

SO4M is right on the money! There was a cowl that completed the design. Fiberglass Specialties may have one.

Yup Stream Schneider Sport. Its actually not a scale airplane but intended to represent the whole formula for the late Schneider Cup racers: Macchi, Supermarine as well as the Glosters and even more obscure ships that all looked very similar.

The displacement of the stock plastic floats is a bit on the low side and this make water handling a little more of a challenge. I rebuilt my ship (the blue one) from someones wreak and the wheeled landing gear as well as the floats are non stock. If I remember correctly they are Great Planes kit built woodies. There is a picture of my buddy that he and I use to fly the Schneiders together at the London Bridge float fly, His ship he still flys with the stock wheeled gear and the stock floats. He has experienced some structural problems around the float attach points.

Its a great flying airplane in either configuration and fun although a little bit of a hot rod certainly worth your trouble to go ahead and refurbish your ship. I use an OS .61SF on mine.
