Something extra on floats????
1 Attachment(s)
Well, I don't know how this is going to turn out but I am going to give it a try. Something extra on floats, should be fine but it came out 8 pounds. That is the only issue I am concerned with it sure is heavy. It should be a great flyer , it flys great on wheels. Any comments or anyone with any expierence with this setup. I will try to fly it later this week.
Thanks Brian |
RE: Something extra on floats????
Looks great. If you have everything balanced and the step of the float in the right place it should fly great.I like 20 percent more power if I am putting a plane on floats, but not always needed. You will know if you have everythig set right when you start to taxi.
Just keep your speed up on take off,and do not force it off the water. Goodluck-Jeffo |

Brian, I put mine on a set of my 30" floats and the plane performs just as it does on wheels. It's a blast! By the way, how are those 42" floats I made for you last year. I hope they worked well..................Seaplane

Well? It's been two weeks, how did it go. I'm a huge SE fan (even built a 150% SE) and am getting into seaplanes so I'm dying to hear how yours went.

Still have not flown it yet with all the storms we've had lately. Maybe tomorrow.
