Seamaster lateral balance

Does anyone have a simple method for checking the lateral balance of a Seamaster?

Set it on a piece of 1/4" square stock right down the center.

If it falls to either side, add weight to the opposite wingtip.

Make sure the engine is not up against compression. Hold the airplane up by one prop blade and the very top of the stab. Add weight to the higher wingtip until in hangs level.
