Scale Floats

Hi!

I just bought an Airsail Beaver kit on ebay.

Where can I find scale Wipline floats (complete/kit/plans) for this 62" wingspan bird?
Fuselage length is about 38".
Flying weight should be around 6 lbs with an electric motor.

Can anybody help?
Thank you!

Matt

Scale Floats

Matt,
Try here: www.seacommander.com for all fiberglass floats.

Good luck, Nigel

Scale Floats

Thanks for the help, Nigel! I appreciate it!

The SeaCommander floats look like great quality, but I am afraid they are too heavy for an electric floatplane of the 62" size.
I would need the smallest ones which are still 10 oz. (each float, I guess).

The built up wooden ones might be the way to go, but only if they offer the correct size and if they are lighter.

Does anybody know of scale (or semi-scale) plans or drawings that could help me to build the floats myself?

Matt
